We’re looking for a passionate and creative Game Developer to join our team to work on an enhanced version of the legendary Dino Game. You will be responsible for reimagining one of the world’s most recognizable browser games, adding new features while preserving the charm of the original.
Key Responsibilities
  • Rebuild and enhance the Dino Game in JavaScript/HTML5 with modern features while maintaining its minimalist feel
  • Implement new obstacles, animations, characters, and power-ups
  • Optimize performance for desktop and mobile browsers
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to maintain intuitive controls and a pixel-perfect layout
  • Maintain game logic, scoring system, and difficulty scaling
  • Add hidden Easter eggs and seasonal content (optional but fun)
  • Conduct regular testing and debugging for smooth gameplay
  • Work with product managers and creative leads on roadmap features
Required Skills
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas, and CSS
  • Experience building 2D browser-based games
  • Familiarity with game loops, collision detection, sprite management
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
  • Passion for retro-style or minimalist games
  • Excellent communication and time management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with game engines like Phaser or Pixi.js
  • Background in art or pixel design
  • Experience with offline/PWA (Progressive Web App) game support
  • Portfolio that includes simple or nostalgic game projects
