Do you feel like data is a hidden world behind every play? Do you want to turn numbers into narrative, every dashboard into a map guiding product decisions for players and revenue? We’re seeking a passionate data game specialist to join our team, someone who can hear the “beep” of analytics and translate it into real-world actions that improve the player experience and business outcomes.
What you’ll do (job responsibilities)

- Design, collect, and clean data from multiple sources (in-game events, CRM, BI tools) to ensure data quality for product decisions.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to define KPIs, analyze A/B tests, and optimize player experience.
- Create reports and visual dashboards (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, or internal tools) to tell data stories for both technical and business audiences.
- Forecast player trends, analyze cohorts, and recommend actions to boost retention, ARPU, and LTV.
- Contribute to the product roadmap by uncovering data-driven opportunities and turning insights into concrete actions.
You’re a good fit if (requirements)
- 2–3+ years of experience as a data analyst/data scientist in games or digital media.
- Proficiency in SQL and BI tools; Python/R for advanced analyses is a plus.
- Understanding of in-game events, measuring player interactions, and lifecycle marketing.
- Data storytelling skills: the ability to present insights concisely to both novices and experts.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate across teams with swift feedback.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a advantage.
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, or equivalent.
What we offer
- Competitive salary and equity options
- Flexible work arrangements and a collaborative, cross-functional culture
- Opportunities to influence live games and player-facing experiences
- Access to cutting-edge analytics tools and a data-driven decision-making environment
- Learning budget for courses, conferences, and certifications
- You have to analyst some games. Ex: doodle baseball, etc.
How to apply
- Send your resume, a short portfolio or links to relevant dashboards/reports, and a note about a data insight you’re most proud of in a game context.
- Include a brief story: a time you turned a data insight into a playable improvement that boosted retention or engagement.
If you’re excited to turn player behavior into actionable design and help our games feel smarter and more fun, we want to meet you. Share your story, data-driven wins, and what you’d tackle in your first 90 days with us.
