certified UX writer to help refine and elevate the
in-game copy, menu labels, and onboarding messages for one of the most popular casual browser games:
Stickman Hook!
With millions of players swinging through hundreds of levels, Stickman Hook offers fast-paced, satisfying gameplay—and now we want our copy to reflect the same level of polish and fun.
Responsibilities:
- Write clear, concise, and engaging microcopy for buttons, tooltips, level messages, and UI elements.
- Collaborate with our design team to improve onboarding and tutorial flow.
- Create copy that enhances gameplay without distracting players.
- Localize tone for a global audience while keeping it casual and quirky.
Requirements:
- Proven experience writing UX/UI content, preferably in mobile or browser-based games.
- A solid portfolio of UX writing projects (links appreciated!).
- Strong understanding of casual game players and their behavior.
- Ability to communicate fun, clarity, and tone using minimal words.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with Unity or web-based game platforms.
- Background in localization or writing for non-native English audiences.
- Passion for stickman-style games or minimalist physics games.
