Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and creative Event Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, ensuring each one is executed flawlessly from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for event planning, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and objectives.
- Develop detailed event plans and timelines, ensuring all aspects are covered (venue selection, catering, logistics, guest lists, etc.).
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure seamless execution of event logistics.
- Manage day-of-event operations, including overseeing staff, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the event runs smoothly.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Assist with budget management, ensuring events are planned within financial parameters.
- Handle event marketing and promotion, including social media, email campaigns, and creating event materials.
- Monitor event feedback and suggest improvements for future events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in event coordination or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
- A positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
