About the Role:
We’re looking for a Design Systems Designer to establish and maintain the visual and interaction framework for Pips NYT, our domino-inspired puzzle experience. Your mission is to create a unified design language that makes gameplay intuitive, accessible, and delightful while supporting a wide range of future puzzle content.
Responsibilities:
- Build and document a cohesive design system (colors, typography, components, interactions) for Pips NYT.
- Collaborate with product, game design, and engineering teams to ensure consistency across mobile and web platforms.
- Create scalable UI patterns that work seamlessly across difficulty levels and puzzle types.
- Develop accessibility guidelines for inclusive design (color contrast, screen reader compatibility, etc.).
- Regularly audit and refine the design system as the game evolves.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in product or game UI/UX design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and component-driven design.
- Proficiency with Figma and design documentation tools.
- Understanding of interaction design for games or puzzle interfaces.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
