Retro Bowl has easy-to-use controls on the screen, making it simple for players to move about the field and guide their team to win. The game has a simple control mechanism that improves the overall experience of playing the game. All of the controls are broken down as follows:
 
When it comes to player movement, you can lead your players around the field by using the virtual directional pad (D-pad) that is situated on the left side of the screen. In the game, the D-pad allows for precise movement control, regardless of whether you are handling the quarterback, the running back, or the wide receiver.
Conduct that is offensive:
When you have the ball in your possession, your Retro Bowl quarterback should press the "Pass" button located on the right side of the screen. This will cause the football to be thrown to a targeted receiver. Make an informed decision, as timing and accuracy are essential components in outwitting the defense of the opposing team. 
In order to direct your ball carrier on the field, you will need to activate the "Run" button, which is located on the right side of the screen. To score a touchdown, you must first break tackles, then make your way through the defensive line, and finally run towards the end zone. 
Actions taken in defense: 
During the defensive phase of the game, you can initiate a tackle against the offensive player who is in possession of the ball by tapping the "Tackle" button. For the purpose of preventing your opponents from gaining substantial yards, you should precisely time your tackles. 
Alternate in Players: This allows you to swap between defenders quickly and easily by tapping on the player icon that you want to use, which is displayed above the defenders on the screen. With the help of this function, you will be able to choose the defender who is best suited to counteract the aggressive actions of your opponent. 
At various points throughout the game, you will have the opportunity to activate special moves and power-ups. These opportunities will present themselves to you. Keeping an eye on the power-up gauge and activating it at the appropriate time will provide you with a significant advantage in the game.
