Job Summary:

The marketing manager/public information officer will oversee several public affairs tasks, including public relations, communications, media relations, community relations, and marketing.

 Formulates and executes initiatives related to crisis management, website development, social media, inbound/outbound marketing, and strategic planning. Establishes collaborative partnerships with businesses, community groups, stakeholders, and peers, while engaging in substantial public outreach to promote the airport. Oversees all marketing initiatives to enhance the airport's visibility and facilitate the growth of its clientele and income.

Essential Functions:
  • Appropriate accommodations shall be provided to assist persons with impairments in executing important duties.
  • Oversees marketing, advertising, corporate communications, and monitors campaigns.
  • Formulates, secures authorization for, and oversees the implementation of media initiatives.
  • Guidance on public information and media relations that influence the airport's purpose, operations, and various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Distributes and monitors press releases and media announcements to enhance the airport's organizational visibility.
  • Prepares and maintains statistical data while reporting monthly activities related to airport operations and passenger statistics.
  • Formulates marketing strategies and detailed marketing plans.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the airport's websites, including all creative, technical, and content-related matters pertaining to the site.
  • Develops and produces relevant, user-centric, and graphically engaging content for all distribution platforms, catering to both internal and external communications.
  • Oversees and cultivates written and verbal communications that reflect the airport (media releases, public speaking, etc.)
  • Accountable for the sales of airport advertising spots, including content design.
  • Executes further relevant tasks as specified.

· Familiarity with graphic design & simple video editing (i.e. Photoshop, Canva, Premier Rush)

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

· Comfortable with sales/cold calls
